Fuel efficiency varies based on the trim level with SE and Limited models rated at 18/25 mpg city/highway with front-wheel drive and 18/24 mpg with all-wheel drive. Opting for the Ultimate package drops those numbers down to 17/23 mpg with front-wheel drive and 17/22 mpg with all-wheel drive. All variants of the 2017 Santa Fe are able to tow 5,000 pounds when properly equipped.
